Letras - BEM VINDO AO SITE DO NPGL

O Mestrado em Letras tem como Área de Concentração os “Estudos da Linguagem e Ensino” e funciona em Associação Temporária com o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras e Lingüística (PPGLL) da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL). Seu principal objetivo é formar profissionais capazes de lidar com as linguagens, de forma crítica, reflexiva e ética, no âmbito do ensino e da pesquisa, conscientes de sua inserção na sociedade. Propõe-se, assim, uma reflexão acerca da pluralidade de linguagens e vozes que marcam as sociedades no mundo contemporâneo. A proposta investigativa da área escolhida abriga uma diversidade de linguagens, concebidas como sistemas cognitivos e produzidas em um dado contexto histórico e sócio-cultural de representação do mundo e, sobretudo, como formas sociointeracionais de comunicação e significação.

Presentation

The Master in Letters has as Major Area the “Studies in Language and Teaching” and works in Temporary Association with the Post Graduation Program in Letters and Linguistics (PPGLL) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). Its main objective is the formation of professionals who are capable of dealing with language, in a critical, reflective and ethical way, in the field of teaching and research, conscious of their role in society. It proposes, thus, a reflection about the diversity of languages and voices which mark the societies of the contemporary world. The investigative proposal of the chosen Major Area covers a great variety of languages, conceived as cognitive systems and produced in a historical and socio-cultural context of representation of the world and, above all, as socio-interactional forms of communication and meaning.
